About Myself

Westen Borghesi here - early jazz, punk, rock 'n roll, and electronic musician, DJ, dancer, podcaster, and flow artist/baton twirler. I've also dabbled in film, theater, sound design, events emcee and host and many other facets of the arts here in my home city of Austin. I recently spent pandemic in Kansas City performing as a flow artist and I've also worked in New Orleans and have toured extensively throughout the US, Mexico, Europe and Australia playing traditional, early jazz.

Personally, the things that move me are friends, new and authentic connections, music of all kinds, flow arts and baton twirling, costuming and bozo fashion, tapes and records, stretching, exercise, water, animals (especially dogs), healthy living and eating and dancing ecstatically.
