Local Austin hot jazz dance band, The Joymakers will take stage at local legendary jazz spot, Elephant Room from 6p-midnight in the heart of downtown Austin. Playing circa 100 year old arrangements from Kansas City, New Orleans and yes, Austin — The Joymakers give a contemporary yet honored sound to these yesteryear hot stompers and give you a glimpse at what you may have heard and seen in various territory cities in the 1920’s. Stomp off, let’s gooo!!!!!

Relevators is a band full of friends who have been playing pre-warII early hot jazz and early swing variously together for 25 years! This authentic 9-piece orchestra will be playing live for happy hour at the legendary Continental Club. The band consists of current and ex-members of Grupo Fantasma, Brownout, White Ghost Shivers, Guy Forsyth Band, Floyd Domino and many other legendary Americana bands from Austin, TX.

A great vintage market curated by Decades In Retro in the beautiful back yard of Kinda Tropical! I’ll be spinning a diverse mix of vintage and contemporary rock ‘n roll, rhythm & blues, power pop, punk, schmaltz and world music of all kinds! Sound weird? Good! Come out and shop and hear how I blend all of these genres together.

Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month join Fartjazz (me) at Lowdown on E. 6th St. in Austin, TX. I DJ a wide range of musical styles that weave through genres and eras depending on what I’ve been listening to at home, and really, what I’m into that week or day. Digital DJing along with occasional vinyl. Styles that I’ve been blending lately are Ethnoelectronica, Escape Room, old and new Hip Hop. Disco, House, Trap, High NRG, R&B and even some vintage styles mixed creatively between other genres. Come thru….
